Full Professor of Civil Law at the University of Granada, Spain.

Head of the Secretariat for Inclusion and Diversity of the University of Granada.

Member of the Justice and Disability Forum of G.C.J. (General Council of Judiciary).

Co-director of the Master’s Degree Programme Discapacidad, Autonomía Personal y Atención a la Dependencia, founded by the Derecho y Discapacidad Foundation and the Menendez Pelayo International University, along with the Derecho Foundation, during its 2014/2015, 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 edition.

The Chair of two Ph.D. thesis, whose primary research objective is focused on a legal perspective on disability: "Mecanismos jurídicos de protección de las Personas con Discapacidad en el Derecho privado", and "Educación Inclusiva".

Director of the Campus Inclusivo Project. Campus Sin Límites, Granada, 2013/2014/2015/2016. The aforementioned project took place at the University of Granada. In addition, it was financed by the ONCE Foundation and the Repsol Foundation, in collaboration with the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.

Director of the Project INnetCampus (European Inclusive Campus), in the framework of Erasmus+, coordinated by the ONCE Foundation and carried out by the University of Granada, the University of Lisbon and the University of Antwerp.

Coordinator of the Legal Work Group regarding Training Development Project focussed on the Design for All, carried out by the Conference of Principals of Spanish Universities (Crue) and the ONCE Foundation (June, 2014).

To conclude, she is author of numerous papers, talks and lectures regarding disability, presented on a variety of both professional and University forums.
