Managing Director and CEO of Fundosa Accesibilidad S.A., from 2000 to 2003. Since then, he has been the Director of Universal Accessibility and Innovation at the ONCE Foundation.

Chairperson of the eVIA Technological Platform and Vice-Chairperson of the European Network for Accessible Tourism ENAT.

Furthermore, he is Chairperson of the Technical Committee for Standardisation AEN/CTN 170 - UNIVERSAL ACCESSIBILITY AND DESIGN FOR ALL at AENOR.

Chairperson of the Mandate 420 of the European Commission for accessibility in the built environment, which aims at the introduction of the Design for All during the public procurement associated with building and town planning.

Responsible for Special Projects in both Southern and Western Europe for architects, designers and others who believe in the potential of their professions, which play a vital role in the necessary transformation of our societies.

Moreover, he is a judge on the Panel for the Access City Award of the European Commission and judge on the Panel for the Reina Sofia Awards for Accessibility and the Reina Letizia Awards for Accessibility.

Included within his academic experience as Director of the Masters in Accessibility and Design for All of the University of Jaen, Director of the Executive Masters in Social Economics at EOI and Director Universal Accessibility Programme at the Official College of Architects of Madrid and the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Editor in Chief of the Journal of Accessibility of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Has led various research projects, financed by Spanish Government Agencies and by the European Commission.
