    University professor, retired, of the Interfaculty Department of Developmental Psychology and Education of the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). 

    Specialist in policies on inclusive education and support to diversity, with a wide and accredited teaching and research experience. He has held positions of technical responsibility in the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science (1986-1996), and has worked as a consultant or expert for several international organizations (UNESCO, OECD, UNICEF, OEI, or the European Agency for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education, AEDNEE). 

    He is a member of the University Institute for Community Integration (INICO, University of Salamanca), of the Advisory Board of the Latin American Regional Network for Inclusive Education (RREEI) and of Catalist for Inclusive Education (Inclusion International). 

    He is a member of the EQUIDEI research group ( ), based at UAM.  

    As author or co-author he has published more than one hundred papers including articles, book chapters or books and has participated in multiple training and dissemination activities in seminars, conferences and national and international congresses, particularly in Ibero-America.
