Ana Luisa López Vélez

Ana Luisa López Vélez is Director of the Department of Didactics and School Organisation at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), and Associate Professor. Her field of teaching and research is linked to the promotion of inclusive education through the training of future teachers of Early Childhood and Primary Education, as well as Secondary Education.  

She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education from the School of Education in the Faculty of Humanities, University of Manchester. At the international level, she has been a consultant for the UNESCO Regional Bureau of Education for Latin America and the Caribbean in the area of inclusive education and educational innovation.  

She has participated in and directed renowned research projects related to inclusive education and Service-Learning (SL).
