Cecilia Simón

Lecturer at the Interfacultative Department of Evolutionary Educational Psychology at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM).

She is both a member of the research group “Equidad, diversidad y educación inclusiva” (Equality, Diversity and Inclusive Education) and the group that coordinates “Consorcio para la educación inclusiva” (Consortium for inclusive education). Currently, she is rector’s delegate for Attention on Diversity at the UAM.

She is currently Delegate of the Rector for Attention to Diversity at the UAM.

Cecilia has an extensive teaching, research and advisory experience on issues related to the development of a more inclusive education in different educational stages. Her lines of research are linked, among other aspects, to the analysis of cultures, policies and practices of the centers within the framework of the right to an inclusive education, and the school, family and community alliance. Shee has participated in multiple national and international projects on these issues, being IP of one of them. The results of these works have been widely disseminated in books, book chapters and articles, as well as in conferences.
