The ONCE Foundation kicks off the 4th International Congress “University & Disability” by opening its CALL FOR PAPERS

The ONCE Foundation is organizing the 4th International Congress “University and Disability” on November 15th and 16th in Madrid. The event gets its form with opening the deadline for the submission of papers that closes on June 29.

The current edition of the Congress, which coincides with the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, sets its main focus on establishing that the higher education and the University studies are drivers of change for inclusion, the statement that complies with Article 26 of the aforementioned Declaration, as well as Article 24 of the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

This way, a gathering point is created for sharing experiences, best practices and the most relevant research on inclusive education, disability support services, managing inclusion, improvement of possibilities for employment, universal accessibility and all initiatives and projects related to University and Disability.

PAPER SUBMISSION DEADLINE

In this way, an important forum is provided for the presentation of posters, proposals and experiences related to this issue. Any person interested in participating can submit an abstract of 300 words of his/her proposal for a paper or research project until June 29. Once all proposals are received, the Scientific Committee will evaluate them, making the resolution public on July 20, 2018. The selected papers read at the Congress will be published in the minutes of the Session of the 4th International Congress of University and Disability.
