TIBERIO FELIZ MURIAS

Centre of Attention for University Students with Disabilities (UNIDIS) of the National University of Distance Education (UNED).

Tiberio Feliz Murias graduated in Teaching and Education from the University of Santiago, specialising in Pre-primary Education, and obtained both his Master’s degree in Educational Sciences and the Ph.D. in Education at UNED.

He worked as an Education for Adults teacher at the Centre of Adult Education in Ferrol and at Radio ECCA in Ourese for 16 years. In addition, he taught Braille Alphabet at the ONCE Organization.

Currently, he is Professor at the National University of Distance Education (UNED) and Director of Centre of Attention for University Students with Disabilities (UNIDIS).

He teaches Programs Design for Social and Cultural Development, Didactic Methodical Organization of University Teaching and Cyber-ethnography.

His main research fields include the following: educational technologies, social networks, distance education and attention to diversity.

He is the co-author of the books Necesidades Educativas Especiales and Didáctica General para Educadores Sociales, and he is the author of Diseño de Programas de Educación Social, as well as of various reports and articles on the aforementioned subjects.
