PhD from the University Carlos III of Madrid (UC3M) with "Doctor Europeus" Mention. Her doctoral thesis was developed at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). 

Teaching experience since 2003 in Secondary and University Education, the latter in 15 countries (Spain, USA, Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Panama, Peru and Uruguay). 

Between 2000-2002 she worked at the Complutense University of Madrid in the adaptation of curricula, participating in studies of labour market insertion of graduates of the University. 

She has been tutor and mentor of students at Georgetown University in the USA between 2000-2005. 

Evaluation experience since 2009 in projects funded by the Spanish Service for the Internationalisation of Education (SEPIE), observer of the international engineering accreditation managed by the American Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and as a member of the self-evaluation committee of ANECA in the evaluation carried out by the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), in the evaluation carried out by the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE), in the evaluation carried out by the European Quality Assurance Network for Informatics Education (EQANIE), in the evaluation carried out by the European Chemistry Thematic Network Association (ECTN) and in the evaluation carried out by the Word Federation for Medical (WFME). 

Since 2009 he has been a member of the staff of the Quality Agency of the Spanish National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA). Currently responsible for the Management of ANECA's International Quality Seals. 

Member of the Editorial Team of the Mexican Journal ACREDITAS for Excellence in Ibero-America since 2020 and Director of International Relations since 2021. 

Member of the Scientific Committee of the Scientific Dissemination Collection of Ediciones Complutense since 2021.
