  • Laverne Jacobs. Professor of Law at the University of Windsor in Canada. Member of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Professor Jacobs is Founding Director of The Law, Disability & Social Change Project. She is also Co-Director of the Disability Rights Working Group of the Berkeley Center on Comparative Equality & Anti-Discrimination Law at the University of California, Berkeley. She has worked to implement disability inclusion at the university level through the University of Windsor’s Accessibility Committee for over 15 years.
