CARMEN MÁRQUEZ VÁZQUEZ
European PhD in Applied Social Sciences, she is a lecturer at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at the Autonomous University of Madrid and coordinator of the Spanish Centre for Documentation and Research on Disability.
For more than a decade, her main line of research has focused on the analysis of inclusion in Higher Education, from the conceptions of its members to the implementation of policies that particularly affect under-represented groups.
She has directed and participated in many national and international projects on these issues and, as a result, she has published several works in which she warns about the weak institutional commitment of our higher education systems to equity and inclusion.
