ANA B. SÁNCHEZ GARCÍA

Graduated in Pedagogy at University of Salamanca (Spain), she carried out her doctoral studies in Educational Sciences, obtaining a doctorate with an Extraordinary Prize. She has carried out various research stays in the USA, one of them, as a Fullbright researcher. At present, she is a Professor of the Didactics, Organization and Research Methods Area of said University and teaches classes on Attention to Diversity and Inclusive School, Educational Needs and Disabilities. Author of more than 100 publications, she has given conferences and courses both in the USA and in Europe and South America, as well as in various Spanish Universities and Institutions. Member of the University Institute for Integration in the Community, she is a research member of the Research Group “Curricular Research” and collaborates as a researcher in the recognized research groups “Diversitas: Public Policies in Defense of Inclusion, Diversity and Gender "and in the one of" Investigation in Disability ". She also has experience in the field of non-university teaching as a special education teacher. At the management level, she was an advisor to the Vice-rector for Postgraduate and Special Plans in Health Sciences and director of the University Master's Degree in Teacher Training. She is currently director of the Social Affairs Service at the University of Salamanca.
