My name is Ana Gómez Quintana, I was born in 1983 and I am totally blind.

I studied Journalism at the Faculty of Information Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) BETWEEN 2001 AND 2006. I obtained an extraordinary prize.

At present, I am enrolled in the degree of Social Education at the UNED (between 2nd and 3rd year).
Between 2004 and 2005, I studied at the Erasmushogeschool in Brussels with an Erasmus scholarship.

In 2008, Postgraduate in Journalism specialising in International Trade, at the Centre for Economic and Commercial Studies (CECO), thanks to an ICEX scholarship.

2007, Course in Social Journalism at the Summer University of the UCM, in San Lorenzo del Escorial. 

I did internships at Radio Nacional de España and at Ecos magazine in Belgium, and worked as a freelance at Nexo group.

Since May 2007, I have been working at Servimedia news agency.

I have covered Corporate Social Responsibility, Equality and education.  

Currently, I write about disability, NGOs and immigration.
