Estefanía Mirpuri Merino was born in Calahorra (La Rioja) in 1975. A member of ONCE, she has been Director General of the ONCE Foundation for Solidarity with Blind People in Latin America since January 2019.

Graduated in Law from the University of Navarra in 1998 and Master in Small and Medium Enterprise Management, since 1999 she has held various responsibilities in the CEOSA Business Group, the General Management of the ONCE, the Territorial Delegation of Madrid, and the Territorial Delegation in La Rioja, where she assumed its management from May 2011 until January 2019, when she accepted the General Management of FOAL.  

In addition, from 2003 to 2007, she was responsible for the Technical Office of European Affairs of the ONCE, being part of various working committees in the European Blind Union (EBU) and participating in international congresses and forums.
