Isabel graduated in journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid. She was General Secretary of Equality Policies of the Spanish Ministry of Equality.

She has a PhD in Sociology from the University of Valencia.

She is currently Director of Programs with Universities and Promotion of Young Talent at Fundación ONCE

She has a master's degree in Sustainability, CSR and Public Leadership.

She is also president of the HelpAge International Spain Foundation.
