PhD in Sociology from the University of Seville and BA in Social Communication from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Xochimilco (Mexico). She is part of the Recognised Research Group (GIR-Diversitas) "Public policies in defence of inclusion, diversity and gender" and is academic coordinator of the Diploma "Equality and empowerment of women" (MOOC- Whetu-Foundation of the University of Salamanca).
