SERGIO CRESPO COELHO DA SILVA PINTO

Adjunct Professor at the Federal Fluminense University UFF. Coordinator of the Doctoral Programme in Science, Technology and Inclusion at UFF. Leader of the research group CNPq: TeCEADI+:

Computational Technologies in Teaching and Learning from the perspective of Diversity, Inclusion and Innovation. In addition, he was a visiting professor in the Master's Programme in ICTs at the Technological University of Panama. He holds a B.Sc. in Data Processing Technology from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (1987), a M.Sc. in Systems and Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - COPPE-Sistemas (1995) and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2000). He has also served as a Full Professor at the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos from 1990 to 2013 and was part of the editorial board of the Brazilian Journal of Informatics in Education (1414-5685).

During the period from April 2013 to November 2013, he was Visiting Professor at the DCC-Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais -UFMG. He has expertise in the field of Computer Science, with emphasis on Software Engineering, and has focused mainly on the following topics: Computational Thinking and Inclusion, Diversity and Inclusion, Distance Education, Informatics in Education and software engineering applications in education.
